“When God deals in the practical understanding of His wish for a young lady, it will always be in the realm of a woman and not a man....Young ladies have got to be very careful to what extent they talk about the will of God for their life. There are some things they better not speak of too exacting, because it implies that God is making them, or preparing them to be separate from the authority of a man in the future.”
“A strong man and a strong woman are good, but the greater strength is going to have to be that man. Sometimes a husband—and you better take heed to this before you get married, O men—sometimes the strength of certain women are an intimidation, and they will be an intimidation to their husband. They come across as more spiritual. They come across in knowing more. I have met a few that that probably was true, but you never knew it.”
